Senior Software Engineer- Java Full Stack – Permanent, Dublin City Centre

Senior Software Engineer Java Full Stack Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle from strategy, application design & development to system amendment, maintenance and support. Development tasks will have a mixture of business and technical deliverables.

What’s involved:

• Design and ensure that requirements and proposed solutions align with technology domains
• Contribute to project planning to define activities, resources, timelines and cost estimates.
• Lead software development effort for specific projects as required
• Develop, modify, configure, integrate solutions to meet design
• Develop/manage solution components
• Provide consultation and support for testing phases
• Participate, coordinate, create and execute implementation plan
• Support solutions post implementation

What you need:

• 7+years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in effectively applying I.S. and industry methods
• Experience with distributed systems and relational databases
• Good knowledge of DevOps
• Experience of Agile methodologies and operating in agile/scrum based teams
